Ce qui est certain c'est qu'il est compréhensible et c'est sans doute le plus important.

Pour un Français, oui. Autrement, ce n'est pas évident

Nannuoshan in search of authentic keemun black tea
I spent a few days in the mountains of the Qimen county in search for authentic Qimen Hong Cha (aka Keemun) and Huangshan Maofeng. Read the blog:
nannuoshan.org/blogs/blog/19178067-the-real-keemun-black-tea
The last week was very intense and completely dedicated to the teas of Fujian. Using Fuzhou as a base, I travelled in the regions where the Minhong Gongfu -superior black teas- and the Fuding white tea are produced. The blog will be published next week.

Re: Nannuoshan
Thanks, very interesting trip.
Just to clarify : producers are selling tip and leaves and buy it back the day after ? Or the one harvesting and those crafting the tea are completely different people ?

They are different people. The pickers take the leaves in the morning, the shops buy them in the afternoon and sell them to the producers in the evening.

I would be grateful if the participants could write a message also to me, so that I can better plan the event.

Nannuoshan in Fujian: Tanyang gongfu and other local teas
After Anhui, I move south to Fujian, a province with an impressive diversity of outstanding teas.
I spend the first days in the capital Fuzhou and in the small mountain village of Tanyang. Here I witness the production of the local black and white teas in a family driven farm.
Read the blog:
nannuoshan.org/blogs/blog/19211051-fujian-1-fuzhou-and-tanyang
The last ten days in China were very demanding and I had no time to update the blog. I hope you still find interesting following my Chinese adventures on a delayed basis.

Re: Nannuoshan
The new green teas just arrived!
I am glad to introduce you the first batch of our green teas 2015:
Two Long Jing from the Lion Peak. The Long Jing Superior completely handmade!
Two Bi Luo Chun from early spring; the best we could find on the Dong Ting Mountains.
Two outstanding green teas from Sichuan: Ganlu and Mingshan Shi Hua (aka Zhu Ye Qing).
And more will be available soon!
Beside the new teas, you will also find some green tea from last year, all offered with 20% discount.
Our green tea is stored in the fridge and therefore still tastes fresh and natural.
Price note: In the last year the Chinese Yuan increased by 30% with respect to the Euro. On top of that, with the Chinese economy still growing at high pace, the tea prices arose. We did our best to keep the price affordable, still we ask your understanding for the fact that some teas are slightly more expensive than last year.
