Petr, please tell Mirka to make some yunomi using this style :
I am sure we'd have a bunch of clients here, and if not I would buy a few anyway

Re: Petr Novák
Hi David,
Done:) She will gladly try if it is going to work in yunomie shape/size. Some decorations/surfaces/glazes work (look naturaly) just in certain size and proportions. If it will come out of the kiln one day, I will definetely share it here.
For now, one kettle (for boiling water over a charcaol) which I like. Black slip glaze covered by charcoal during firing, unglazed inside, around 700ml.

Re: Petr Novák
Really nice... it looks so soft!
Did you try it already? What does water coming out of this piece taste like?

Re: Petr Novák
Thanks!
Yes, I try all my kettles. Mostly to see if they are not going to crack on fire. Good thing is that when there was several cracked ones on electric stove, all work nicely on charcaol. Here I used clay which is not very porouse and (our) water is influenced slightly, more rounded and soft but without taste of clay. Here are another shots...

Re: Petr Novák
Very interesting shape and very nice glaze. Do you have the exact idea of the shape before doing it (maybe a drawing somewhere) ? Or does it come while working with the clay ?

Re: Petr Novák
David,
Usually there is an idea in my head, sometime I would say there is an idea in my body- in my hands. I rather know what I would like to go for then that I think too much about it. Clay is malleable but sometime stubborn as well and I let a lot of things going to happen during the procces. That is why some of my series are sometime maybe too jazzy:)
There is something new on my blog! http://potsandtea.blogspot.cz/2013/12/two-teas-from-late-90-red-mark-and-fuhai.html
One another bowl, the flying ash creating islands of crystals on unglazed fine stoneware...

Those fantastic pieces always come out of your kiln when I'm totally broke
